JL Animal Chiropractics offers services that are designed to help your animals body to be in balance and out of pain. If your animal is experiencing changes in behaviour, performance or well-being it is time to book in.

History

Takes a detailed patient history including previous issues, management of lifestyle, exercise regime, or specific concerns for the animal. This allows Jordanna to fully understand your animal and the goals that you would like to achieve.

Static / Dynamic

Observing conformation/blemishes/ musculature when the animal is standing, also watching the animal move at walk and trot, additionally horses will be backed up and circled tightly. Allowing Jordanna to establish areas that have dysfunction, it's movement patterns and any asymmetries.

Palpation

Palpating through the neck, spine, pelvis and in horses the distal limb to assess for misalignments. Feeling for any muscle tension, muscle spasm, lumps, bumps, heat or swelling. Thus allowing determination of any areas showing dysfunction or restriction within your animal.

Treatment & Aftercare

These misalignments are treated adopting a McTimoney Technique in a hands on only process. Post treatment, a specialised aftercare plan will be created for your animal to help with areas of tension, weakness, injury prevention and to prolong treatment benefits.
