Chiropractic

JL Animal Chiropractics specialises in using the McTimoney technique focusing on helping to align and  balance the musculoskeletal system, especially that of the spine and the pelvis. Every joint in the body has a normal range of motion when a misalignment occurs the said joint becomes restricted within it's normal range of motion causing muscle tension, muscle asymmetry and discomfort that can be associated with stiffness, altered movement patterns and thus predisposing the individual to injury. The spinal column houses the spinal cord where nerves arise and innovate into the soft tissue, therefore, the importance of correct alignment of the musculoskeletal system within the body is necessary for optimal function. So what can cause these misalignments to occur whether it be acute or chronic? Causes can vary from a slip, fall, collision with another dog, ill-fitting harness, birthing trauma, dental issues, wear and tear from exercise regime for example.
